Douglas “D.J.” Lutz is a Virginia-based writer, storyteller, and decent cook. As a younger lad, he spent more late nights than he cares to admit as a line cook, bartender, and bouncer at one of the largest country western honky-tonk bars on the east coast. There he acquired a quick wit, a stronger liver, and enough material for a library of tales beyond belief. Author of the Winnie Kepler Culinary Mystery Series, Douglas and his wife live in the Greater Hampton Roads area of Virginia along with a crazy chocolate lab puppy and two sneaky cats.
